WOMEN ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PROJECT (WEE)

The WEE project is a three years (3 years) scalable entrepreneurial approach that is aimed at increasing the income and agency of low-income women in Sub-Saharan Africa. The goal of this strategy is to increase women’s economic opportunities in Jama’a and Kaura LGAs by supporting efforts of women farmers trained in vertical sack farming approach and a household member with vocational skills to generate and control their household incomes. Meaningful Solutions LTD (MSL) is one of the partners engaged to develop and implement the Monitoring and Evaluation system for the entire project and also to complement the Agric component of this project implemented by Agro Live, to integrate climate smart technological solutions to track and monitor changes both on the farm and economic improvement at the household level.
